Vivo V17 with AMOLED display, In-Display fingerprint sensor, 4500mAh battery launched in Russia

  Vivo has announced its new ‘Vivo V17’ smartphone in Russia which is a re-branded version of Vivo S1 Pro smartphone. It sports a 6.38-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90% screen-to-body ratio. It does support dual SIM connectivity.


  The Vivo V17 is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU. It packs 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal storage. It runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9.0 Pie OS.

  The Vivo V17 features a quad rear camera setup, it has a 48MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 8MP (multra-wide with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. It comes with a 32MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

  The Vivo V17 features a In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Price and Availability

  Vivo V17 is priced at RUB22,990 (US$ 359 / Rs. 25,770 approx.) in Russia. Now it is available to pre-order in Russia. There is no word on availability on other markets yet. Users who pre-book before December 5th, 2019 will get a Vivo Y11 (2019) for free.
