Motorola Razr Flip Phone with foldable display launched


  Motorola has announced razr, the company’s latest foldable smartphone. The Razr smartphone is a flip phone, similar to the old range but this has a large  6.2-inch flexible OLED 21:9 CinemaVision display that closes completely in half. The company said that the hinge mechanism allows the phone to close with both sides perfectly flush. “This engineering breakthrough protects the display and creates an even thinner, more compact design.

Motorola Razr specifications:

  The Motorola Razr features dual display, it has got 6.2-inch (2142 x 876 pixels) 21:9 Cinemavision foldable pOLED screen, and there is a external 2.7-inch (600 x 800 pixels) 4:3 gOLED screen. It has got eSIM support. The company said that the smartphone features nano coating for water resistant.

  The Motorola Razr is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) with Adreno 616 GPU. It packs 6GB (LPPDDR4x) RAM with 128GB internal storage, there is no option for expanding storage. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS.

  The Motorola Razr sports a 16MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1.22um pixel size, EIS, Dual Pixel autofocus (AF), Laser AF and dual LED flash. However you can use it as a selfie camera. There is a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12um pixel size.

  It features a standard fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 4 mics. But there is no 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 2510mAh battery and support 15W fast charging.

Price and Availability

  The Motorola razr smartphone will be available for pre-order exclusively from Verizon in the US starting December 26 at $62.49 a month for 24 months on Verizon Device Payment or $1,499.99 (Rs. 1,08,230 approx.) without contract and it will be in stores and online on January 9th, 2020.
