Fossil Hybrid HR smartwatch launched

  Fossil has launched its new Hybrid HR smartwatch which was spotted back in September on a new platform. It sports a always-on readout display that allows users to view notifications like calls, text, check commute time, social media messages and more alongside using it like a traditional watch with integrated mechanical hands. It has got 42mm dial and this hybrid smartwatch is compatible with all 22mm straps and is also water-resistant up to 3ATM.


  Fossil Hybrid HR comes in Collider Smoke stainless steel and Charter Rose Gold-Tone stainless steel variant, and there is Charter Black Leather, Collider Black Silicone, and Collider Dark Brown Leather variants.

  The smartwatch comes with 3 physical buttons, these buttons are customisable and users can control music, check the date, etc and assign the functions they use most to the buttons. It has Bluetooth 4.2LE connectivity and is compatible with iPhone 5/ iOS10+ and Android 5.0+.

  The Fossil Hybrid HR smartwatch houses a 16GB internal storage. It has an integrated heart rate sensor for wellness tracking and also has activity tracking. It also comes with face dials, custom goal tracking, different workout modes, auto-time, second-time zone, music control, alarm, timer, stopwatch, ring your phone, front light for low visibility, etc.

  The company claims that it delivers 2+ weeks of battery life. It also supports rapid charging with up to 80% in one hour.

Price and Availability

  The Fossil Hybrid HR stainless steel variant is priced at US$ 215 (Rs. 15,275 approx.) and the leather variant is priced at US$ 195 (Rs. 13,850 approx.). It is available for purchase now on Fossil’s website, and it will be available in India starting November 18th 2019.
