Honor MagicBook 15 and MagicBook 15 launched in China, price and full specifications

  Huawei's Honor Brand has launched MagicBook lineup of laptops with AMD Ryzen processor – HONOR MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15. The new HONOR MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15. These laptops run Windows 10 after Microsoft was allowed to license the OS to Huawei.


Honor MagicBook 14 features:

  The HONOR MagicBook 14 sports a 14-inch (1920 × 1080 pixels) FULL HD IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a backlit keyboard. It is powered by up to 2nd Generation AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor with 2.1GHz base clock speed (turbo boost up to 3.7GHz) and Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics. It is packs 8GB DDR4 RAM clocked at 2100MHz and 512GB PCIe SSD. Honor managed to secure Windows 10 licenses, but a Linux option is available at a lower price.

  It comes with new Magic Link 2.0 that enables a seamless connection between mobile phones and PCs. The company said that the new MagicBook comes with upgraded cooling system in this laptop and has adopted an s-shaped fan blade design that results in up to 38% effective cooling. It has got 720p webcam, but hidden behind a key on the top row of the keyboard.

  The Honor MagicBook 14 comes with Dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. It has got fingerprint scanner. It has 1 x USB Type-C port, 1 x USB 3.0 Type-A, 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1 x HDMI, and 3.5mm audio combo jack. It houses a 56Wh battery, and it comes with 65W USB-PD charger, you can go from 0% to 46% charge in 30 minutes.

Price and Availability

  The HONOR MagicBook 14 is priced at 3899 yuan (US$ 554 / Rs. 39,620 approx.) for the Ryzen 5 variant and 4199 yuan (US$ 596 / Rs. 42,660 approx.) for the Ryzen 7 variant. The MagicBook 15 is priced at 3899 yuan (US$ 554 / Rs. 39,620 approx.) in China. Now, the MagicBook 14 and 15 laptops are available for pre-order and will be available from December 1st, 2019 in China. However, there is no word on international availability yet.
