Honor V30 Pro with Kirin 990 SoC, triple rear camera setup, dual selfie camera launched

  HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has announced the HONOR V30 pro with 5G support in China. The Honor V30 sports a 6.57-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ LCD 2.5D curved glass display with 96% NTSC color gamut, and it comes with dual punch-hole camera design. It comes with glass back panel. It does support dual SIM connectivity.


  The Honor V30 Pro is powered by the 2.86 GHz Octa-Core Kirin 990 5G processor with ARM Mali-G76MP16 GPU, Dual Big Core + Tiny Core NPUs(Neural-network Processing Unit). It packs 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB internal storage, and it does not support microSD card. It runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.0.1.

  The Honor V30 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, it has a 40MP RYYB camera with f/1.6 OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 aperture AF camera with 5-axis OIS for video, a 8MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture AF OIS, 3x optical zoom, Laser AF, CAF, PDAF and LED flash. It comes with dual selfie camera housed in a hole-punch, it has a 32MP main front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, and a 8MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and ultra wide-angle lens.


  The Honor V30 Pro features a side mounted fingerprint sensor, and it also comes with face unlock feature. It has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GLONASS, BeiDou, GPS/A-GPS, and NFC connectivity. It comes with a USB Type-C port and there is no 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors packed inside the new Honor V30 Pro smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor. It houses a 4100mAh battery, and it does support 40W super Fast charging, 27W wireless charging, and it has got 7.5W reverse charging.

  The HONOR V30 PRO comes in 8GB + 128GB version at 3899 yuan (US$ 553 / Rs. 39,630 approx.) and the 8GB + 256GB version costs 4199 yuan (US$ 596 / Rs. 42,700 approx.) in China. It will go sale in China from December 12.
