ColorOS 7 will rollout in India from January 2020 for Realme smartphones


  Recently, OPPO has announced the ColorOS 7 in China. Realme already confirmed that Android 10 roll out for realme phones starting from Q1 2020. Now the company has confirmed that realme’s own customised UI based on ColorOS 7 and Android 10 for realme devices will roll out from January. 2020 onwards. The ColorOS 7 brings some interesting features like Driving mode, Sleep mode, Sidebar which is like a small drawer, Password Book, Flashback and more.

  The company said that the Realme XT users who have already participated in the ColorOS 6.7 program will also receive ColorOS 7 updates by November-end. The company also launching ColorOS 7 Beta recruitment starting from 27th November 2019, especially for the realme X2 Pro users. The applicants can fill in their application on the realme Community.


  Realme said that information and feedback will be collected from the ColorOS 7 Beta program to further enhance the UI experience better.

Realme X2 Pro timeline:

• 27th November to 3rd December 2019 — realme X2 Pro beta recruitment application starts.

• 9th December: Final list of the Beta testers selected will be announced.

• 18th December 2019 to February 2020: Beta testing will be conducted for approximately 2 months

• March 2020: Stable roll out begins
