Redmi Note 8T with Snapdragon 665 SoC, quad rear camera setup, NFC launched

  After rumors, Xiaomi has officially launched e Redmi Note 8T smartphone, a version of the Redmi Note 8 for the European market. The Redmi Note 8T sports a 6.39-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass LCD screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and it has got Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back with P2i splash-resistant coating. It has dedicated dual nano SIM and a dedicated microSD card slot.


  The Redmi Note 8T is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage / 128GB storage, and you can expand storage up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 9 pie OS with MIUI 10.

  The Redmi Note 8T features a quad rear camera setup, it has a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary rear camera with f/1.79 aperture, 6P lens, PDAF, EIS, a 8MP 120° ultra-wide angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP camera for 2cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture and dual LED flash it comes with a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, and It supports face unlock.

  The Redmi Note 8T features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, NFC, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 4000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.

Price and Availability

  The Redmi Note 8T is priced at 179 Euros (US$ 198 / Rs. 14,065 approx.) for 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, 199 Euros (US$ 220 / Rs. 15,670 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 249 Euros (US$ 275 / Rs. 19,565 approx.). It will be available from November 8th in Spain and Italy and will be available in France from November 13th and in Germany from November 15th. It will also be available in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg soon.
