Honor V30 with Kirin 990 SoC, triple rear camera setup, 40W fast charging support launched

  HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has announced the HONOR V30 with 5G support in China. The Honor V30 sports a 6.57-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ LCD 2.5D curved glass display with 96% NTSC color gamut. It comes with glass back panel. It does support dual SIM connectivity.


  The Honor V30 is powered by the 2.86 GHz Octa-Core HUAWEI Kirin 990 processor with ARM Mali-G76MP16 GPU, Big Core + Tiny Core NPUs(Neural-network Processing Unit). It packs 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, and it does not support microSD card. It runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.0.1.

  The Honor V30 features a quad rear camera setup, it has a a 40-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, assisted by an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, 3X optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. It comes with dual selfie camera housed in a hole-punch, it has a 32MP main front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, and a 8MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and ultra wide-angle lens.


  The Honor V30 features a side mounted fingerprint sensor, and it also comes with face unlock feature. It has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GLONASS, BeiDou, GPS/A-GPS, and NFC connectivity. It comes with a USB Type-C port and there is no 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors packed inside the new Honor V30 smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor. The Honor V30 houses a 4200mAh battery and supports 40W fast charging. You will get a 40W fast charger in the box.

  The HONOR V30 6GB + 128GB version costs 3299 yuan (US$ 468 / Rs. 33,530 approx.) and 8GB + 128GB costs 3699 yuan (US$ 525 / Rs. 37,600 approx.) in China. It will go on sale in China from December 5.
