The Fitbit Versa 2 smartwatch has been launched in India. It comes in black with a carbon case, petal with a copper rose aluminum case and stone with a mist grey case. There is a Versa 2 Special Edition, which comes in navy and pink colours with copper rose aluminum case and smoke with a mist grey case.
It sports a AMOLED Touchscreen. It is water resistant and it can survive under 50 meters of water. The Fitbit Versa 2 has WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and NFC connectivity. It supports iPhone (4S and later) and Android (5.0 and later). It has built-in microphone. It supports Alex voice assistant. It offer faster performance, thousands of apps and clock faces. The company said that the smartwatch will provide 5 days of battery life with normal use.
The Fitbit Versa 2 lets you store 300 songs on device, or downloading and listening Pandora stations, Spotify playback. It has 3-axis accelerometer, Optical heart rate monitor, Altimeter, Ambient light sensor, Vibration motor, Relative SpO2 sensor for estimating blood oxygen levels. It has got 15+ Exercise Modes, so use Swim, Run & other modes to see real-time stats while you exercise.
It also has sleep tracking features, this feature allows you to track time in light, deep and REM sleep stages & get insights about your night. It has heart rate monitor, it will provide enhanced PurePulse heart rate tracking with greater accuracy during exercises like cycling, intervals and running.
The Fitbit Versa 2 has sleep mode option, when you turn on this feature the smartwatch simultaneously disable your screen display and silence notifications for a night free of disturbances. Sleep Mode can also be used anytime you don’t want to be interrupted, like during a workout or in a meeting.
The company said that the Estimated Oxygen Variation Graph feature will roll out soon, this graph will provide users with an estimate of the variability of oxygen levels in their bloodstream. The data is derived from a combination of the red and infrared sensors on the back of your device. Being aware of short-term variations in the oxygen levels in your bloodstream may indicate variations in your breathing during sleep
