Oppo Reno 2 with Quad Rear camera setup, 16MP Shark fin rising selfie camera, In-Display fingerprint sensor launched in India
Oppo has launched the Reno 2 smartphone in India. It sports a 6.55-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display 20:9 aspect ratio, 100% NTSC color gamut. It has got Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It comes with gradient 3D Glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has Hybrid dual sim card slot.
The Oppo Reno 2 smartphone is powered by the Octa Core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.8GHz Hexa) Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform with Adreno 618 GPU. It packs 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage, and you can expand storage with microSD card. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 UI.
The Oppo Reno 2 features a quad rear camera setup, it has a 48MP primary rear camera with 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 0.8um pixel size, PDAF, OIS, EIS, a 8MP 116-degree Ultra Wide Lens, a 13MP telephoto lens and a 2MP mono lens with LED flash. The rear camera setup supports 5x Hybrid Optical Zoom and 20X digital zoom.
The Oppo Reno 2 has a 16MP shark fin rising selfie camera with LED flash. The company says that it will withstand over 200,000 times of lifting and the mechanism takes just 0.8 seconds. The front-facing camera also supports face unlock.
The Oppo Reno 2 features a In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes with Dolby Atmos audio technology. It houses a 4000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
