Samsung Galaxy Book S price starts at $999 in US



  Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Book S at an event. It has a 13.3-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD TFT (16:9 aspect ratio) 10-point multi-touch display. It comes with premium anodized aluminum frame on the top and base and ultra-slim body measuring just 6.2mm at its thinnest point and it weighs just 960 grams. It also comes with backlit keyboard.


  It is powered by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx  7nm (Max. 2.84 GHz + 1.8GHz) Compute Platform processor. It packs 8GB (LPDDR4X) RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and it supports expandable memory up to 1TB. It runs on Windows 10 Home/Pro OS. It features Windows Hello instant sign-on with your fingerprint. It also has a 720p HD webcam.

  The Galaxy Book S has 4G LTE Cat.18 via nano SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth v 5.0, USB Type-C, Location (GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou) connectivity. It features stereo speakers tuned by AKG, and Dolby Atmos technology. It houses a 42Wh battery, the company said that it will provide up to 
23 hours of video playback. It comes in Earthy Gold and Mercury Gray colours.

The Samsung Galaxy Book S price starts at $999 (Rs. 70,840 approx.) in US, and will roll out in select markets beginning Fall 2019.
