LG X2 / K30 (2019) smartphone launched

  LG has launched the LG X2 (2019) smartphone in South Korea. It will launch in select European countries including Germany, Italy and Poland as well as North America as K30 (2019).


  It sports a 5.45-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. No details about the display protection. It is MIL-STD-810G compliant that can withstand impact, vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock and humidity. It comes with a dedicated dual nano SIM and dedicated microSD card slot. It also has a dedicated Google Assistant button.

  The LG X2 is powered by the 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform with Adreno 308 GPU. It packs 2GB RAM with 32GB storage, and there is a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding storage. It runs on Android 9 pie OS.

  The LG X2 features a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and LED flash. It has a 5MP front-facing camera. It does support face unlock. Sadly, there no fingerprint sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS and NFC connectivity. It comes with a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 3000mAh battery.

Price and Availability

  The LG X2 (2019) is priced at 198,000 won (US$ 163 / Rs. 11,468 approx.) in India. It will go on sale in Korea from August 9th. It will launch in select European countries including Germany, Italy and Poland as well as North America as K30 (2019), and is listed by some retailers in Moroccan Blue color for around £120.49 (US$ 145 / Rs. 10,255 approx.).
