Realme X2 Pro with Snapdragon 855+ SoC, In-Display fingerprint sensor, quad rear camera setup launched

  The Realme X2 Pro smartphone has been launched in China at an event. The Realme X2 pro is the first flagship smartphone from Realme. This smartphone offers flagship grade performance, design and camera setup.


  The Realme X2 Pro sports a 6.5-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio Fluid AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and up to 1000nit brightness. The display has got Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. It comes with a Glass back panel with Aluminium frame. The black panel also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It does support dual SIM connectivity.

  The Realme X2 Pro is powered by the 2.96 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm Mobile Platform with 675MHz Adreno 640 GPU. It packs 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.0) / 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.0) internal storage. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS with ColorOS 6.1 UI.

  The Realme X2 Pro features quad rear camera setup, it has a 64MP primary rear camera with 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, EIS, a 13MP Telephoto lens with 1/3.4″ sensor, 1μm pixel size, f/2.5 aperture for up to 20x hybrid zoom, 2.5cm macro, a 8MP 115° ultra-wide angle lens with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture,1.75μm pixel size. It comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 1.0μm pixel size.

  The Realme X2 Pro features a In-Display fingerprint sensor, it also comes with face unlock support. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm Audio jack. It also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The Realme X2 Pro houses a 4000mAh battery with 50W (10W/5A) SuperVOOC fast charging support. Most importantly, You will get a SuperVOOC fast charger in the box.

Price and Availability

  The realme X2 Pro is priced at 2699 yuan (US$ 381 / Rs. 27,170 approx.) / 399 Euros (US$ 439 / Rs. 31,400 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 2899 yuan (US$ 409 / Rs. 29,185 approx.) / 449 Euros (US$ 494 / Rs. 35,330 approx.) in China.


  The Realme X2 Pro 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version(master edition in Red and Gray colour) edition costs 3299 yuan (US$ 466 / Rs. 33,215 approx.) / 499 Euros (US$ 549 / Rs. 39,265 approx.). These will get 100 yuan discount during the first sale on October 18th in China and will be available in Europe in early November. Realme already confirmed that the phone will be launched in India in Decemeber, 2019.
