Vivo U3 with 5000mAh battery, Snapdragon 675 SoC, Triple rear camera setup launched

  Vivo has launched the Vivo U3 smartphone in China. It sports a 6.53-inch (2340  × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It comes with polycarbonate body. It has Dual SIM support. It does support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  The Vivo U3 is powered by the 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 64-bit 11nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 612 GPU. It packs 4GB / 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 64GB  storage, you can expand storage up to 256GB with microSD. It runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9.0 Pie OS.

  The Vivo U3 features a triple rear camera setup, it has a 16MP primary rear camera with f/1.78 aperture, Sony IMX499 sensor, LED flash, a 8-megapixel 120° wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixe depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

  The Vivo U3 features a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, and it also has face unlock support. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a massive 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Price and Availability

  The Vivo U3 is priced at 999 yuan (US$ 141 / Rs. 10,000 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1199 yuan (US$ 169 / Rs. 12,010 approx.) in China.
