Huawei Nova 5z with Quad rear camera setup, Kirin 810 SoC, 20W fast charging support launched

  Huawei has launched the Nova 5Z smartphone in China. It sports a 6.26-inch (2340×1080 pixels) Full HD+ IPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. Looks like it has got Glass back panel, but I am not sure. It comes with Hybrid dual sim card slot.


  The Nova 5z is powered by the Octa-Core Kirin 810 7nm (2x 2.27GHz Cortex-A76 +6 x 1.88GHz Cortex-A55) processor with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. It packs 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage, and you can expand storage up to 256GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 9 pie OS with EMUI 9.1 UI.

  The Nova 5z features a quad rear camera setup, it has a 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, a 8MP Ultra Wide Angle lens, a 2MP macro camera with f/1.75 aperture, and there is a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. It comes with a 32MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

  The Novo 5z features a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and it also has face unlock support. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE and GPS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 4000mAh battery and it comes with 20W fast charging support.

  The HUAWEI Nova 5z is priced at 1599 yuan (US$ 226 / Rs. 16,030 approx.) for the 64GB version and the 128GB version costs 1799 yuan. It is available for pre-order in China and goes on sale from November 1st.
