Google PixelBook Go announced
Alongside the new Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel Buds, Google also announced its latest Pixelbook Go laptop at the hardware event in New York. The Pixelbook Go comes in two different display sizes - 13.3-inch FULL HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) / 4K Ultra HD Molecular Display (3830 x 2160 pixels). The Google Pixelbook Go features a lightweight design with textured bottom, sleek matte finish and magnesium casing.
Google has also improved the keyboard on the Pixelbook Go with a full-size backlit keyboard, and a dedicated Google Assistant key.
The PixelBook Go comes with three different models - 8th Gen Intel Core m3 / Core i5 / Core i7 processor. It packs up to 16GB RAM and up to 256GB SSD storage. It runs on Chrome OS that “starts up in seconds and stays fast with automatic updates”. It also packs a Titan C security chip, built-in FIDO authenticator and sensors like Ambient Light sensor and Magnetic sensor.
The PixelBook Go features a 2MP Duo Cam with f/2.0 aperture, it can record 1080p videos at 60fps. It has got Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2×2 (MIMO), dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. It has 2 x USB Type-C charging and display output and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sadly, there is no microSD card reader. It also comes without fingerprint sensor.
The Full HD display version houses a 47Wh battery, while the 4K display version houses a 56Wh battery, both models comes with 45W charging adapter (5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/2.25A).
