Xiaomi Redmi 6A with MediaTek Helio P22 SoC launched in China and priced at 599yuan

  Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones in China. These two smartphones are budget smartphons. The Redmi 6A has a 5.45-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It has polycarbonate body. It has Hybrid dual sim card slot. In terms of design, both Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphons looks identical.


  The Redmi 6A is powered by a 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. This smartphone is running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9 out of the box.

  The Redmi 6A has 13MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It has 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. This smartphone comes without fingerprint sensor, but it has face unlock feature.

  The Redmi 6A has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has microUSB port and 3.5mm Audio jack. It packs a3000mAh battery.
