Xiaomi Redmi 6 with Dual rear camera, MediaTek Helio P22 SoC launched in China

  Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones in China. These two smartphones are priced under 999 yuan (Rs. 10,500 approx) in China. Let's see Redmi 6 smartphone specifications.


  The Redmi 6 has a 5.45-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display and 1000:1 contrast ratio. This smartphone comes with Hybrid dual sim card slot. It has a polycarbonate back panel has a brushed metal surface.

  The Redmi 6 is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In terms of storage, it has 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. The Redmi 6 is running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9 out of the box.

  The Redmi 6 comes with Dual rear camera setup, It has a 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and secondary 5MP rear camera. It has a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. Xiaomi added some AI features.

  The Redmi 6 has fingerprint sensor on the back and it has also face unlock feature. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has microUSB port and 3.5mm Audio jack. It packs a 3000mAh battery.

  The Xiaomi Redmi 6 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage version is priced at 799 yuan (Rs. 8,430 approx.) and the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version will cost you 999 yuan (Rs. 10,545 approx.) in China. This smartphone will be available in China from June 15th.
