MediaTek Helio M70 SoC with 5G



  MediaTek has announced the Helio M70 SoC at Computex. The M70 is based on TSMC's 7nm process, has a transfer rate of 5Gbps, and supports 5G NR (New Radio). The company said that it has collaborated with NOKIA, NTT Docomo, China Mobile, Huawei, and other vendors. it also participated in the 3GPP organization’s standard setting and discussion in 5G.

  MediaTek didn't revealed the full specifications of the MediaTek Helio M70 SoC. The Helio M70 is expected to ship in 2019.

  Google has announced Google Nest mini second-generation Google Assistant speaker at its US event. Google said that the Nest Mini provides bass 40% stronger bass than the original Mini (measured from 60-100 Hz at max volume) with 40 mm driver, features proprietary audio tuning software.   The Nest mini has WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
