Samsung Galaxy J8 now available in India for Rs. 18,990

  Recently Samsung has launched the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 smartphones in India. At that time the company said that the Galaxy J8 will be available from July. The Samsung Galaxy J8 smartphone is now available in online and offline strores across India.

  The Samsung Galaxy J8 packs a 6-inch (1480 x 720 pixels) HD+ Super AMOLED 18.5: 9 Infinity 2.5D curved glass display. No details about the display protection. It has dedicated dual sim card and a dedicated microSD card slot. It can support 4G VoLTE connectivity, but this smartphone is not going to support Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.

  The Galaxy J8 is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card. This smartphone is running on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box. Like Galaxy J6 it comes with “Chat Over Video” feature which facilitates an uninterrupted and uncompromised video viewing experience while chatting.

  The Galaxy J8 comes with dual rear camera setup. It has 16MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash and it has secondary 5MP camera with f/1.9 aperture. It packs a 16MP front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The Dual rear camera comes with Background Blur Shape, Portrait Dolly, and Portrait Backdrop features. Both front and rear cameras can record full HD videos.

   The Galaxy J8 has fingerprint sensor on the back, it has also face unlock feature. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, ANT+, GPS connectivity. It has microUSB port, 3.5mm Audio jack and FM radio. It packs a 3500mAh battery.

  The Samsung Galaxy J8 is priced at Rs. 18,990 in India. This smartphone is now available across retail outlets and online through Samsung’s e-shop, Amazon, Paytm and Flipkart. Those who buys the smartphone with ICICI credit and debit cards or Paytm Mall will get an additional cash back of Rs. 2,000. The company also offering free One-time screen replacement for those who are activating the Galaxy J8 on or before 31st July 2018.
