Honor Play with Dual rear camera, 16MP front-facing camera

  Huawei’s Honor Brand launched
Honor Play in China. The Honor play has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 display with a notch and a 89% screen-to-body ratio. No details about the display protection. It has a metal back. This smartphone has Hybrid dual sim card slot.


  The Honor Play is powered by a octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC along with Mali-G72 GPU and the built in NPU (neural processor unit). This smartphone comes with GPU Turbo graphics processing acceleration technology that increases graphics processing efficiency of mobile phones for smoother and faster mobile experience. It has 4GB / 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. This smartphone is running Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2 on the top.

  The Honor Play is packed with Dual rear camera, it has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, CAF and a secondary 2MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera comes with AI scene recognition that can detect over 500 scenes. It has a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

  The Honor Play has fingerprint sensor on the back, it has also face unlock feature. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack with 7.1-channel Histen audio. It packs a 3750mAh battery and it can support fast charging.

  The Honor Play is priced at 1999 yuan (Rs. 21,086 approx.) for the 4GB RAM version and the 6GB RAM version costs 2399 yuan (Rs. 25,305 approx.) in China. This smartphone is now available for order and goes on sale in China from June 11th.
