Vivo NEX series smartphones with In-Display fingerprint sensor, 8MP pop-up front-facing camera launched
Vivo has launched its flagship NEX series smartphones as it had promised, So Vivo has launched the NEX A and NEX S smartphones. These two smartphones will set a new trend in the smartphone market. There are some deference between NEX A and NEX S, the NEX A is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC, while the NEX S smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC. Most importantly the NEX S comes with a In-Display fingerprint sensor, but the NEX A smartphone has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.

The NEX S and NEX A are comes with a 6.59-inch (2316×1080 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED 19.3:9 aspect ratio display ultra narrow 1.71 mm bezels on the sides, 2.16mm on the top. These two smartphones can support Dual sim.
The Vivo NEX S is powered by a 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU, While the NEX A is powered by a latest Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform processor with Adreno 616 GPU. The big brother NEX S has 8GB with 256GB / 128GB internal storage and the small brother packs 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. Both the Vivo NEX S and NEX A smartphones are running on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS. These smartphones comes with Ai-powered Energy UI and Jovi AI with dedicated hardware button to launch it.
Vivo has partnered with Tencent, NetEase and Unreal for system-level SDK optimization for the best gaming experience with Game Mode 4.0.
The NEX series smartphones have 12MP Dual PD rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, 4-axis OIS, f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. It has also 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The 8MP pop-up front camera that automatically rises and hides when you open and close the camera app. Vivo said, this uses extremely precise micro-stepping motors, with independent drive ICs and precision control algorithms to precisely control this process.

Both the smartphones have Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO , Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. The NEX series smartphones comes with USB Type-C port. The Vivo NEX S has a 3.5mm Audio jack with CS43199 + SSM6322 Amplifier, and the NEX A smartphone has a 3.5mm Audio jack with AK4376A DAC. Both the Vivo smartphones are packs a 4000mAh battery and supports fast charging. The Vivo NEX smartphones come in Diamond Black and Red colors.
The Vivo NEX S with Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM and in-display fingerprint scanner is priced at 4498 yuan (Rs. 47,500 approx.), 256GB version of it costs 4998 yuan (Rs. 52,780 approx.) and the Snapdragon 710-powered NEX A with 6GB RAM costs 3898 yuan (Rs. 41,170 approx.) in China. The NEX series smartphones will be available in China from June 23rd.
