Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC with Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity, Quick charge support announced

  Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 439 SoC. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 mobile platform comes with Octa-Core 4 × 1.95GHz Cortex A53 + 4 × 1.45GHz Cortex A53 CPUs. It has Adreno 505 GPU. It is based on 12nm FinFET process technology. Most importantly, it can support Qualcomm quick charge 3.


  The Snapdragon 439 mobile platform has Integrated X9 LTE, Snapdragon All Mode with support for LTE FDD, LTE TDD, LTE Broadcast, WCDMA (DB-DC-HSDPA, DC-HSUPA), TD-SCDMA, CDMA 1x, EV-DO, GSM/EDGE. It can support Cat 12/13 speeds of up to 300 Mbps down/150 Mbps up via 2×20 MHz uplink and downlink carrier aggregation, Up to 64-QAM.

  It has Dual SIM Dual VoLTE (DSDV), Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) with LTE call continuity, HD Voice over 3G and VoLTE connectivity, it has also Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Hexagon 536 DSP with Qualcomm All-Ways Aware technology. It can support GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS.

  It can support Supports up to FHD+ displays, up to 1080p wireless display. It has 14-bit 2x Image Sensor Processor (ISP), it can support Up to 21 MP single camera and Up to 8MP dual camera. It can support 1080p@30fps video recording and Up to 1080p video playback.

  The company said, It will deliver up to 25% better performance, and 20% faster graphics rendering compared to Snapdragon 430.
