Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 SoC with Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity, Quick charge 3 technology announced

  Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 429 SoC. This processor is made for budget smartphones. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 comes with Up to 1.95GHz Quad-Core ARM Cortex A53 CPUs, it packs Adreno 504 GPU. It is based on 12nm FinFET process technology. The Snapdragon 429 SoC comes with Hexagon 536 DSP with Qualcomm All-Ways Aware technology.


  It has Integrated X6 LTE with Snapdragon All Mode with support for LTE FDD, LTE TDD, LTE Broadcast, WCDMA (DB-DC-HSDPA, DC-HSUPA), TD-SCDMA, CDMA 1x, EV-DO, GSM/EDGE. It can support Cat 5/4 speeds of up to 150 Mbps down via 2×10 MHz downlink carrier aggregation, Up to 64-QAM /75 Mbps up 1×20 MHz uplink carrier aggregation, Up to 64-QAM.

  It can support Dual SIM Dual VoLTE (DSDV), Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) with LTE call continuity, HD Voice over 3G and VoLTE. It can support  GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS. It has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Most importantly, this processor comes with Quick charge 3 technology.

  The Snapdragon 429 SoC can support up to HD+ display. It has 14-bit 2x Image Sensor Processor (ISP), it can support Up to 16 MP single camera and Up to 8MP dual camera. It has ability to capture 1080p videos at 30fps, it can support Up to 1080p video playback. The company said, it will give you Zlero shutter lag and Real-time Bokeh effect.
