SHARP Aquos S3 High Edition with Snapdragon 660 SoC launched in Taiwan

  SHARP has launched the Aquos S3 High edition smartphone in China. The Aquos S3 has a 6-inch FHD+ display with a notch and 91% screen-to-body ratio. It has  Hybrid Dual sim (nano + nano/microSD) card slot. This smartphone comes glass back.


  The SHARP Aquos S3 is powered by a Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform processor (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. This smartphone is running on Smile UX based on Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box.

  The SHARP Aquos S3 comes with Dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP rear camera with wide-angle lens, f/1.75 aperture, 1.4um pixel size, dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF and a secondary 13MP rear camera with telephoto lens. It has a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. This smartphone can support face unlock that scans 1024 facial points to unlock the phone in 0.1 seconds. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.


  The Aquos S3 High edition has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC connectivity. It has USB Type-C port. It packs 3200mAh battery and it can support Quick Charge 3.0 and Qi wireless charging.

  The SHARP Aquos S3 High edition is priced at NT$ 13,990 (Rs. 31,571 approx.) in Taiwan. This smartphone will go on sale from June 11th in Taiwan.
