SHARP Aquos Zero with Snapdragon 845 SoC, Android 9 Pie OS announced

  The Sharp Aquos Zero smartphone has been announced. The phone comes with a 6.22-inch WQHD+ (1440×2992) display with support for the DCI-P3 color space and Dolby Vision. It is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.


  The Sharp Aquos Zero is powered by 2.6GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and it packs 128GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Sharp Aquos Zero packs a 22.6-megapixel (f/1.9 aperture) primary camera on the rear and a8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It can support face unlock. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The Sharp Aquos Zero is powered by a 3130mAh. It measures 154.00 x 73.00 x 8.80 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 146 grams.

  Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. It has 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology. Sensors on the phone include Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.

  The SHARP Aquos Zero will be available in Japan by the end of the year. There are no details regarding the exact launch date, pricing, and availability in other markets.
