OnePlus 6T with In-Display fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 845 SoC waterdrop notch design display launched



  OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 6T smartphone at an event in New York. The OnePlus has a 6.41-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Optic AMOLED display with 100.63% sRGB color gamut, DCI-P3 color gamut, over 600 nits brightness, and it has got Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It has a glass back and comes in Mirror Black version that has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. There is a Midnight black version, The company said that the it has a glass back, but it comes with matte finish. The jagged texture was etched onto the film to produce a subtle S-shaped line when the phone is reflected in light. It comes with dedicated dual nano sim card slot. It can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.

  The OnePlus 6T is powered by the 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage. It runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with OxygenOS 9.0, you will get full screen gestures feature, but it is not looks like stock Android 9 Pie OS's full screen gestures feature. The company said that it has Smart Boost technology, it will improves app start speeds to 5 to 20% by storing data from frequently used apps in the phone’s RAM.


  The OnePlus 6T comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 16MP primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.6″ Sony IMX519 sensor, 1.22μm pixel size, OIS, EIS, and it has a secondary 20MP camera with Sony IMX376K sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size and dual tone LED flash. The rear camera can record 1080p @240fps and 4k @60 fps and 480 fps slo-mo at 720p videos. It comes with 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX 371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture & 1.0μm pixel size. It can support face unlock.

  The OnePlus 6T comes In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port, but it it doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, so you have to rely on the bundled USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, USB Type-C  headphones or Bluetooth headphones. It comes with Bottom-facing speaker and Dirac HD Sound. It packs a 3700mAh battery and it can support Dash Charge (5V – 4A).

  The OnePlus 6T 6GB RAM with 128GB version is priced at $549 (Rs. 40,395 approx.), the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs $579 (Rs. 42,600 approx.) and the high-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs $629 (Rs. 46,285 approx.) in U.S. It will roll out in the US via T-Mobile from November 1st and in Europe from 6th. We should know the price for India when it is launch in India. it goes on sale in India exclsuively on Amazon from November 1st.
