LG Watch W7 hybrid smartwatch launched



  The LG Watch W7 smartwatch has been launched. This is the first hybrid smartwatch that combines mechanical movement with digital functionalities powered by Wear OS by Google. It packs a 1.2-inch (360 x 360 pixels) Circular LCD Display with 300ppi. It features quartz movement and physical watch hands in a stainless steel body and has been developed in partnership with Soprod SA of Switzerland. It is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. It is compatible with all standard 22mm watch bands.


  The LG Watch W7 is powered by the 1.1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 (MSM8909W) processor. It has 768MB LPDDR3 RAM with 4GB eMMC Internal storage. It runs on Wear OS by Google, it is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and iOS devices. Interms of connectivity, it has Bluetooth 4.2 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB Type-C 2.0 connectivity.

  The LG watch W7 comes with 9-Axis (Gyro/ Accelerometer/ Compass), Pressure sensor. It packs a 240mAh battery, it will give you up to two days with average use and an additional 3-4 days in analog-only mode. In mechanical watch-only mode with its “smart” features disabled, the watch can operate for up to 100 days, or more than three months of battery life.

  The LG Watch W7 is priced at $450 (Rs. 33,330 approx.) in U.S, it is available in the US from October 14 with pre-orders starting from October 7th.
