Huawei Mate 20 pro with Kirin 980 SoC, triple rear cameras launched

  Huawei has launched the Mate 20 pro smartphone at an event in London. The Mate 20 pro packs a 6.39-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels) QHD+ OLED 19.5:9 DCI-P3 HDR Display with 820 nits brightness, 86.90% screen to body ratio. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / NM card) slot, that lets you use replace the second SIM with a NM Card. The Mate 20 Pro has a glass back with unique Hyper Optical Patterns. It is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.


  The Huawei Mate 20 pro is powered by the HUAWEI Kirin 980 (2 x Cortex A76 2.6 GHz + 2 x Cortex A76 1.92 GHz + 4 x Cortex A55 1.8 GHz) processor with 720 MHz ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB storage/ 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with NM card. It runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.

  The Huawei Mate 20 pro comes with triple rear cameras, it has a 40MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, 20MP Ultra Wide Angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and it has a 8MP Telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, laser focus, phase focus, contrast focus and AIS (Huawei AI Image Stabilization). Together, the trio of lenses supports a wide range of focal lengths (equivalent to the performance of a 16-270mm zoom lens). It has a single 24MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The Rear camera can record up to 4K videos, while the front-facing camera can record only full HD videos. The Mate 20 pro comes with 3D Live Emoji.


  The Huawei Mate 20 pro comes with a In-Display fingerprint sensor. It can support 3D face unlock. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz) (wave2), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS (L1 + L5 dual band) and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C (GEN1) port. It doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 4200 mAh (typical) battery with 40W SuperCharge and it can support 15W Wireless Quick Charging. It comes with comes with Wireless Reverse Charge technology, which enables the device to work as a power bank for devices supporting Qi wireless charging.
