Honor 8X with Kirin 710 SoC, Dual rear camera setup launched in India, price starts at Rs. 14,999

  Huawei’s Honor brand has launched the Honor 8X smartphone in India. It packs a 6.5-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and 91% screen-to-body ratio. It has dedicated dual sim card slot and a dedicated microSD card slot. It can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  The Honor 8X is powered by the Octa-Core Kirin 710 12nm (4 x 2.2GHz Cortex-A73 +4 x 1.7GHz Cortex-A53) with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU and It comes with GPU Turbo technology. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 400GB with microSD card via dedicated microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.2.


  The Honor 8X comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 20MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, and it has a 2MP secondary rear camera and LED flash. The rear camera comes with AI scene recognition that can identify up to 500 scenes. The rear camera can record full HD videos and 480fps slow-mo videos. It has a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It can record full HD videos. The selfie camera comes with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, it can support Face unlock and AI beautify.


  The Honor 8X comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 3750mAh non-removable battery.

  The Honor 8X is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 16,999 and the high-end 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 18,999 in India and it will go on sale exclusively on Amazon.in starting from October 24th.
