Google Pixel Slate with Chrome OS, 12.3-inch Display, Intel processor launched



  Google, along with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, also introduced the pixel slate, this is the company's latest table pc which is running on Chrome OS. It packs a 12.3-inch (3000×2000 pixels) LCD display with 293ppi, 400 nits brightness, 72% NTSC color gamut and it can support Google Pixelbook Pen, which launched last year. It is just 7mm thin. It comes dual front-firing speakers, it has 2 mics for improved noise cancellation. The power button doubles as a fingerprint sensor. Pixel Slate Keyboard has round Hush Keys, dedicated Google Assistant key and an extra large trackpad.

  The Pixel slate is powered by the Intel Celeron Processor / 8th Gen Intel Core m3 / Core i5 / Core i7 Processor. It has 4GB RAM with 32GB SSD, 8GB RAM with 64GB SSD / 128GB SSD, 16GB RAM with 256GB SSD. It runs on Chrome OS that can also run Android apps via Google Play. The Pixel Slate tab comes with Titan security chip, the company said that it will protect your information, device passwords etc.


  The Pixel Slate comes with a 8MP Autofocus rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and 1.12μm pixel siz. It has also 8MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size & wide field of view.

  In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), 2×2 (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, Two USB-Cs for charging, 4K display output and quicker data transfer. It packs a 48Wh battery and it can support 45W  (5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/2.25A) fast charging, the company said that it will give you up to 12 hours of mixed use.

  The Pixel Slate with Intel Celeron Processor, 4GB RAM + 32GB Storage / 8GB RAM with 64GB Storage starts at $599 (Rs. 44,395 approx.), the Pixel Slate with 8th Gen Intel Core m3 Processor, 8GB RAM + 64GB Storage at $799  (Rs. 59,215 approx.), the Pixel Slate with 8th Gen Intel Core i5 Processor, 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage at $999 (Rs. 74,040 approx.) and the Pixel Slate with 8th Gen Intel Core i7 Processor, 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage at $1,599 (Rs. 1,18,509 approx.) in U.S.

  The Pixel Slate keyboard is priced at Rs. US $199 and the Google PixelBook pen priced at US $99 in U.S.

  The Google Pixel Slate and the Pixel Slate keyboard will be available later this year via Google Store, and at major retailers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
