Oppo A9x with 48MP + 5MP rear camera, 4020mAh battery, MediaTek Helio P70 SoC launched



  OPPO has launched the Oppo A9x smartphone, this is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the A series. It sports a 6.53-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with 90.7 screen to body ratio, and it comes with a waterdrop notch. It has a 3D gradient back panel. It supports dual sim.


  The Oppo A9x is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor (Quad 2.1GHz Cortex A73 + Quad 2GHz Cortex A53 CPUs) with 900MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It has 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, and you can expand memory up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0.

  The Oppo A9x features a dual rear camera setup, it has a 48MP primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, and a 5MP secondary rear camera with LED flash. It comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both front and rear cameras do support Full HD video recording. It supports face unlock.


  The Oppo A9x comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 4020mAh battery and supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Price and Availability

  The Oppo A9x is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 289 / Rs. 20,325 approx.) in China. It is available for pre-order through OPPO Shop and goes on sale from May 21 in China.
