Honor 20 with Kirin 980 SoC, quad rear camera setup, Android 9 Pie OS launched

  Along with Honor 20 pro the company has launched the Honor 20 smartphone. The Honor 20 sports a 6.26-inch (2340×1080 pixels) FHD+ All-View display with 412 ppi, and it comes with punch hole design display. It comes with Glass back panel, the company said that the smartphone has 3-layers glass Finish, so it gives a depth effect when the light hits the back at certain angles. It supports dual sim.


  The Honor 20 is powered by the HUAWEI Kirin 980 (2 x Cortex A76 2.6 GHz + 2 x Cortex A76 1.92 GHz + 4 x Cortex A55 1.8 GHz) processor with 720 MHz ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It packs 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS with Magic UI 2.1 on top.

  The Honor 20 features a Quad rear camera setup, it has a 48MP rear camera with 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, AIS, a 16MP 117-degree Ultra Wide Angle lens, a 2MP f/2.4 aperture camera for 4cm macro, and 2MP f/2.4 aperture camera for depth sensing and led flash. It comes with a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, and supports 3D Portrait Lighting.


  The Honor 20 pro features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it also supports face unlock. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port but there is no 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with Virtual 9.1 Surround Sound, Dual-microphones and Huawei Histen 6.0. It houses a 3750mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging, you will find the fast charger in the box.

  The Honor 20 is priced at 499 Euros (US$ 556 / Rs. 38,870 approx.). It will roll out across Europe and Asia pretty soon. Most importantly, the company already confirmed that the HONOR 20 series will launch in India on June 11th on Flipkart.
