The New Apple iPod Touch is here



  Apple has launched the 7th Gen iPod touch in US. It has a 4-inch (1136 × 640 pixels) retina display with 326ppi. It has aluminium body. It looks like older iphones. The new Apple iPod touch is powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion chip, and it comes in three storage variants namely 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It runs on iOS 12 OS. It also supports Siri.


  According to Apple, it is introducing immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences and Group FaceTime for the first time on iPod.

  The new iPod touch has a 8MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture, five element lens and LED flash. It supports Full HD video recording. It comes with a 1.2MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. It supports 720p@30fps video recording.

  The new iPod touch has Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connectivity. It has a Lightning port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a Lithium-ion battery, the company said that it will deliver 40 hours of music playback time and 8 hours of video playback time. It comes in space grey, white, gold, blue, pink and (PRODUCT)RED colours.


Price and availability

   The new iPod touch price starts at  $199 for the 32GB model, $299 for the 128GB model and $399 for the 256GB model in US. It is available to order starting today from apple.com and in the Apple Store app in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK and US.
