Xiaomi Redmi 7S with 48MP + 5MP rear camera, 13MP front-facing camera, Snapdragon 660 SoC launched in India, Price starts at Rs. 10,999

  Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 7S smartphone in India. Actually, the Redmi 7S is a improved version of the Redmi 7. Most of the specifications are similar to the Redmi 7.


  The Redmi 7S has a 6.3-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass LTPS in-cell display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness, 84% NTSC Color Gamut, and it has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes with 2.5D glass back panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes with P2i nano coating for splashproof. It has got Hybrid dual sim card slot.

  The Redmi 7S is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It packs 3GB LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB storage / 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage, and you can expand storage up to 256GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.


  The Redmi 7S features a dual rear camera setup. It has a 48MP rear camera with 1/2″ Samsung GM1 sensor, f/1.79 aperture,  0.8μm pixel size, PDAF, EIS, and a 5MP secondary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and LED flash. It comes with a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size. It supports face unlock. Both front and rear cameras do support Full HD video recording, there is no 4K video recording option.

  The Redmi 7S features a rear-mounted Fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 4000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick charge 4.0.

  Xiaomi Redmi 7S is priced at  Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, and the high-end 4GB with 64GB version costs Rs. 12,999 in India. It will go on sale on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting from May 23rd and will be available through other platforms soon.
