Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro with Dual rear camera, 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 Display launched in India



  Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 6 pro smartphone in India. It packs a 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch with 500 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 84% NTSC Color Gamut. It has dedicated dual nano sim card slot and a dedicated microSD card slot.


  Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card via dedicated microSD card slot. This smartphone is running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 10 out of the box.

  The Redmi 6 pro comes with Dual rear camera setup, it has 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX486 sensor, 1.25um pixel size, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and a secondary 5MP rear camera with Samsung S5K5E8 sensor, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture. It has 5MP front-facing camera. Both front-facing and rear cameras can record only full HD videos. This smartphone comes with some AI features like AI portrait, AI scene recognition and AI Face unlock.


  The Redmi 6 pro has fingerprint sensor on the back and Infrared sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 4000mAh battery. This smartphone comes in Rose Gold, Gold, Blue, Black and Red colours.

  The Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 12,999 in India. It comes with a case, and will be available exclusively from Amazon.in as well as Mi.com starting from September 11th.
