Meizu 16X with In-Display fingerprint sensor, Dual rear camera setup launched in China

  Meizu has launched the Meizu 16X in China, this is a mid-range smartphone. It packs a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 90.62% screen-body ratio and 402ppi. It has dual sim card slot. It can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  The Meizu 16X is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) with Adreno 616 GPU. It has 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB Internal storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Flyme OS.

  The Meizu 16X comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP rear camera with wide-angle lens, 1/2.3″ Sony IMX380 sensor, 1.55μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, Four-axis OIS, PDAF, Laser auto-focus, and it has a secondary 20MP telephoto lens with Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture and 6-LED ring LED flash. It has a 20MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It can support AI face unlock.

  The Meizu 16X comes with In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 3100mAh non-removable battery and it can support mCharge fast charging.

  The Meizu 16X is priced at 2098 yuan (US$ 206 / Rs. 22,150 approx.) for the 64GB storage version and the 128GB storage version costs 2398 yuan (US$ 350 / Rs. 25,316 approx.) in China. It is available for order today and goes on sale from September 26 in China.
