Apple Watch series 4 launched

  Apple Watch Series 4 has been launched in the U.S. It pack a new display with an edge-to-edge curved display. The company says that the screen is over 30% larger than the predecessor. The back of the Watch is made of black ceramic and sapphire crystal. It is powered by the next-generation S4 chip with a custom 64-bit dual-core processor. The Apple Watch series 4 comes in two variants, one with GPS and second one comes with GPS + cellular connectivity.


  The Company says that the entire interface has been redesigned to provide more information with richer detail. Apple's new watchOS 5 will be available for other Apple Watch models starting September 17. The new Infograph watch face can accommodate up to eight complications, so you can see more and do more at a glance. The speakers are 50% louder optimized for phone calls, Siri and Walkie-Talkie and the Mic is also moved to the other side.

  The Apple Watch series 4 comes with an electrical heart rate sensor that can take an electrocardiogram (ECG) using the new ECG app.

  The new Apple watch comes with Fall detection which utilizes a next-generation accelerometer and gyroscope and measures up to 32 g-forces, along with custom algorithms to identify when hard falls occur, then Apple Watch sends the user an alert after a fall. The Apple Watch Series 4 will be available in gold stainless steel along with silver and space black stainless steel models.

  Apple Watch Series 4 GPS edition starts at $399 (Rs.28,686 approx.), while the Watch Series 4 GPS + Cellular version starts at $499 (Rs. 35,875 approx.) in the U.S. Apple Watch Series 4 GPS edition will be available to order from September 14th in 26 countries and territories and Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular) will be available to order in 16 countries and territories. Both models will be available in stores from September 21. Please note that India is not in the list.
