Motorola P30 Note with Dual rear camera, Snapdragon 636 SoC launched in China

  Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched the Moto P30 Note smartphone in China. The smartphone looks similar to the Motorola P30 in design. The Motorola P30 Note has a 6.2-inch (2246 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 2.5 curved glass display with 19:9 aspect ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has dedicated dual sim card and a dedicated microSD card slot. It can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  The Motorola P30 Note is powered by the 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It has 4GB / 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card via dedicated microSD card slot. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS based on ZUI 4.0.

  The Motorola P30 Note comes with dual rear camera setup, it sports a 16MP primary camera (f/1.8 aperture, 1.25um pixel size, OmniVision OV16B sensor), and a 5MP secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture, OmniVision OV5675 sensor) with dual-tone LED flash support. At the front, there is a 12MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.25um pixel size. It can support face unlock.


  The Motorola P30 Note has a fingerprint sensor on the back. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 5000mAh battery and it can support fast charging.

  The Motorola P30 Note is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 293 / Rs. 20,825 approx.) for the 4GB RAM version and the 6GB RAM version costs 2299 yuan (US$ 337 / Rs. 23,950 approx.). It is already on sale in China. The company is bundling JBL headphones with the phone as part of the introductory offer.
