Vivo V9 Pro with Dual rear camera, Snapdragon 660 SoC launched in India

  Vivo has launched the Vivo V9 pro in India. It packs a 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with a notch, 90% screen-to-body ratio and 1.75mm slim bezels. It has dedicated dual sim card slot and a dedicated microSD card slot. It can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  The Vivo V9 Pro is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 6GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card via dedicated microSD card slot. It runs Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

  The Vivo V9 pro comes with dual rear camera setup, it has 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and it has a secondary 2MP camera with LED flash. It has a single 16MP front-facing camera. It can support face unlock. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

  The Vivo V9 pro has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack, it can support USB OTG. It packs a 3260mAh non-removable battery.

My opinion

  The Vivo V9 Pro will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Mi A2, Redmi note 5 pro, Nokia 6.1 plus and Motorola One Power smartphones. I think the Vivo V9 pro is value for money smartphone. Please let me know what you think...
