Meizu V8 and Meizu V8 pro launched in China



  Meizu has launched the V8 and V8 Pro smartphones in China. Both smartphones comes with 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio displays. Both these run Android 8.1 Oreo.

Meizu V8 specifications


  The Meizu V8 packs a 5.7-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 450 nits brightness. It has Hybrid dual sim card slot. It can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.

  The Meizu V8 is powered by the 1.5GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739 64-bit processor with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. It has 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, you can expand storage with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Flyme OS.

  The Meizu V8 packs a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. It has a 5MP front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. It can support face unlock. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

  It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE and GPS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 3200mAh battery.

  The Meizu V8 pro packs a 5.7-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 450 nits brightness. It has Hybrid dual sim card slot. It can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.

  The Meizu V8 pro is powered by the 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, you can expand storage up to 128GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Flyme OS.

  The Meizu V8 pro comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and it has a secondary 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. It has a 5MP front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. It can support face unlock.

  The Meizu V8 pro comes with a fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 3100mAh battery.

  The Meizu V8 is priced at 799 yuan (US$ 117 / Rs. 8,450 approx.) and the Meizu V8 Pro is priced at 1098 yuan (US$ 161 / Rs. 11,610 approx.) in China. Both these will go on sale in China from September 26th, now both these smartphones are available for pre-order.
