HTC U12 life with Snapdragon 636 SoC, Dual rear camera unveiled at IFA 2018

  HTC has unveiled the HTC U12 life smartphone at IFA 2018 in Berlin. The HTC U12 life comes with Dual Tone Liquid Surface design. It packs a 6-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD LCD display, No details about the display protection. It has Hybrid dual sim card slot. It can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  The HTC U12 life is powered by the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, Kryo 260 (4x Cortex-A73 @ 1.8GHz + 4x Cortex-A53 @ 1.6GHz), Adreno 509. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, you can expand storage with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 8.1 with HTC sense UI.


  The HTC U12 life comes with dual rear camera setup, it has 16MP primary rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, it has got 5MP depth sensor and LED flash. The rear camera can record up to 4K videos. It has 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, it can record full HD videos. It can support face unlock.

  The HTC U12 life has a fingerprint sensor on the back. It has Dual 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC connectivity. It has a USB 2.0 Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 3000mAh battery. No, fast charging support. This smartphone comes in Moonlight Blue and Twilight Purple colours.

  The HTC U12 life has Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Motion G-sensor, Compass sensor, Magnetic sensor ,Sensor hub and Gyro sensor.
