Samsung launched AKG Y100, AKG Y500, AKG N200 and AKG N700NC M2 headphones in India

  Samsung has announced the launch of four new wireless earphones and headphones in India – AKG Y100, Y500, N200 and N700NC M2.


AKG Y100 specifications:

  The AKG Y100 wireless headphones comes with a neckband style design. It has 9.2mm driver unit, a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz, and an impedance of 16 ohms. It has got Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity with AAC codec support and have support for  HFP V1.7, A2DP V1.3, AVRCP V1.5 Bluetooth profiles.

  The company said that the headphones features Ambient Aware technology that allows users to let in surrounding ambient sound by activating the Ambient Aware Mode.

  The headphones comes with 3-button and a microphone. There is a 120mAh battery on this earphone that takes 2 hours to charge and promises to deliver an 8-hour battery life. It comes in Black, Blue, Green, Pink colour options.


AKG Y500 specifications

  The AKG Y500 is a wireless headphone and it has soft-touch headband and memory foam ear cups and aluminium highlights. It houses a 40mm driver unit, a frequency response of 16Hz-22kHz, and an impedance of 32 ohms. It comes with Bluetooth connectivity and has microphone.

  It also features Ambient Aware technology and this headphone has Volume and Sound controls on the ear-cups. It packs a 900mAh battery on this earphone that takes 2.5 hours to charge and promises to deliver a 33-hour battery life. It also comes in Black, Blue, Green, Pink colour options.


AKG N200 specifications

  The AKG N200 wireless earphone comes with an in-ear fit and has a fabric cable, exquisite metal housing and patterned accents. It comes with 8.6 mm driver unit, a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz, and an impedance of 16 ohms. It has Bluetooth v4.1 and has support for Apt-x technology and AAC audio.

  It has got 3 buttons and a microphone. The company said that it delivers an 8-hour battery life and a 10-minute speed charge for a 1-hour battery supply. It comes in Black, Blue, Green colour options.


AKG N700NC M2 specifications

  AKG N700NC M2 wireless on-ear headphones comes with adaptive noise-cancelling technology”. It features a 90-degree rotating hinge, comes with soft ear cushions with memory foam and the adjustable headband. It comes with a frequency range of 10-20kHz, and an impedance of 16 ohms. There is support for Ambient Aware technology like other AKG products and also comes with a one-button remote. The company said that it will deliver up to 23 hours of playback with BT+ANC on (36 hours wired, with ANC on. It comes only in a Black colour option.

Price and Availability

  AKG Y100 priced at Rs. 6,699, AKG N200 and AKG Y500 are priced at Rs. 9,999 each and AKG N700NC M2 at Rs. 26,999 in India. These headphones will be available through Samsung E-store, exclusive outlets and all top retailers, and they will also be available at leading online portals shortly.
