LG G8S ThinQ with Snapdragon 855 SoC, triple rear camera setup launched in India

  The LG G8s ThinQ has a 6.2-inch (2248 x 1080 pixels) 19.5:9 FHD+ FullVision OLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It supports dual sim. It has glass back panel and metal frame, the glass back has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. MIL-STD 810G compliance and IP68 water and dust resistance. It comes with Hybrid dual sim card slot.


  The LG G8s ThinQ is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It packs 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) Internal storage, you can expand memory up to 2TB with microSD card. It runs on Android Android 9.0 Pie OS.

  The LG G8s ThinQ comes with triple rear camera setup, it has a 12MP primary rear camera with f/1.5 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, 78° lens, 13MP super wide camera, and it has 12MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size, 45° lens and LED flash. It comes with 8MP front camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1.22μm pixel size, 80° lens, and it has a 3D ToF sensor. It supports 3D face unlock. The rear camera setup does supports 4K@60fps videos and 720p@240fps video recording, and the selfie camera can record 1080p@60fps videos.


  It also supports Hand ID, it uses the Z Camera’s ability to scan a user’s unique circulatory pattern using infrared light making unlocking the phone in the dark just as accurate as during the day. The Z Camera is Air Motion, a touchless command interface that allow users to perform various actions without touching the screen.

  The LG G8s ThinQ comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible) port and 3.5mm audio jack. It features stereo speakers. It packs 3550mAh battery and it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
