Oppo A5 2020 with Quad rear camera setup, 5000mAh battery, Android 9 pie OS launched in India



 Along with Oppo A9 2020, Oppo also launched the Oppo A5 2020 smartphone in India. It sports a 6.5-inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 480 nit brightness, and it has got Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. It comes with polycarbonate body. It has a dedicated dual nano SIM card and a dedicated microSD card slot.


  The new Oppo A5 is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU. It packs 3GBGB / 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage, and you can expand storage up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 9 pie OS with ColorOS 6 UI.

  The new Oppo A5 smartphone features a quad rear camera setup, it has a 12MP primary rear camera with 1/2.8″ sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, EIS, a 8MP 119° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size and LED flash. It comes with a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size. It supports face unlock.

  The new Oppo A5 features a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It also comes with Dolby Atmos audio technology. It houses a 5000mAh battery.

Price and Availability

  The OPPO A5 (2020) is priced at Rs. 12,490 for the 3GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 13,990 in India. It will be available online on Amazon and offline starting 21st September.
