Apple iPad (2019) announced, price starts at Rs. 29,900 in India, price in US ?

  Apple has announced its 7th Gen iPad at an event. The new iPad sports a 10.2-inch (2160 x 1620 pixels) Retina display with 500 nits brightness and 264 PPI. It does support Apple pencil. It has got metal body. The Wi-Fi + cellular version has got nano sim card slot.


  The new iPad is powered by the A10 Fusion chip with 64-bit architecture and M10 motion co-processor. It comes in 32GB/128GB storage variants. It runs on iOS 13. It features a 8MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture, 5P lens and Hybrid IR filter. It has a 1.2MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and Retina Flash. It comes with a Touch ID. It has stereo speakers and dual microphone.

  It has 4G LTE (optional), Wi‑Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz); HT80 with MIMO and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. a three-axis gyroscope, an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a barometer. There is also a digital compass on board. It is powered by a 32Whr battery rated to deliver up to 10 hours of Web surfing time on Wi-Fi, and 9 hours on a cellular network.

Price and Availability in India

  The iPad (2019) price in India starts at Rs. 29,900 for its Wi-Fi only, 32GB storage base model, while the 128GB Wi-Fi only model is priced Rs. 37,900. The Wi-Fi + Cellular model starts at Rs. 40,900 for the 32GB variant, while the 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model is priced at Rs. 48,900 in India. Now it is available to order starting today in the US and more than 25 other countries and regions. It will be available in stores in those countries and more beginning September 30. It will be available in India later.

Price in US

  The Apple iPad (2019) priced at $329 (roughly Rs. 23,600) for the Wi-Fi only model, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular base model is priced at $459 (roughly Rs. 33,000). For education users, Apple is offering the new iPad at $299 (roughly Rs. 21,500) in US.
