Redmi 8A price in India and full specifications

  The Redmi 8A smartphone has been launched in India. It sports a 6.2-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 19:9 aspect ratio and it has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes with polycarbonate body. It has P2i coating for splash resistant. It has dedicated dual nano SIM card and a dedicated microSD card slot.


  The Redmi 8A is powered by the Octa-Core (Quad 1.95GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.45GHz Cortex A53) Snapdragon 439 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU. It packs 2GB / 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and you can expand storage up to 512GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10.

  The Redmi 8A has a 12MP rear camera with  Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.9 aperture, Dual PD auto focus and LED flash. It comes with a 8MP front-facing camera. It does support face unlock. However, you don't get a fingerprint sensor.

  The Redmi 8A has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. You will get a 10W charger in the box.

  The Redmi 8A comes is priced at Rs. 6499 for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs Rs. 6999 in India. It will be available on Flipkart and mi.com starting from September 29th midnight. It will be available at Mi Home stores from 30th September, and will soon be available across all other offline stores.
