Airtel Xtreme Stick and Xtreme Box launched in India

  Airtel on Monday launched its Xstream Box and Xstream Stick in India, as part of its rebranding of its Airtel TV platform to Airtel Xstream. Airtel launched Internet TV, an Hybrid DTH and 4K Android TV box back in 2017.

  The Company also revamped the Airtel TV app to Airtel Xstream. It comes with new user Interface and much sharper content discovery and recommendation engine. It also has over 400 channels, 10,000 plus movies and shows from top content providers like ZEE5, Hooq, Eros Now, HungamaPlay and much more.


Airtel Xtreme Stick features:

  The Airtel Xtreme Stick is Powered by 1.6Ghz processor, and runs on Android 8 Oreo OS. It has built-in Chromecast, comes bundled with Bluetooth 4.2 voice enabled remote. The Company said that the single subscription plan that provides access to movies and shows from top OTT content partners like ZEE5, Hooq, Hoi Choi, Eros Now, HungamaPlay, ShemarooMe, Ultra and Curiosity Stream, in addition to Wynk Music. It let you enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime Video apart from other Google Playstore applications.

  The Company said that Airtel Thanks Platinum and Gold customers will get complimentary access to the content subscription plan on Airtel Xstream Stick. All other customers get free access to the content for the first 30 days and will need to subscribe to a Rs. 999 annual plan for the content.

  The Airtel Xtreme Stick is priced at Rs. 3999 in India and will be available exclusively on Flipkart and across leading Airtel retail stores, airtel.in, top electronic retail chains like Croma and Vijay Sales offline.


Airtel Xtreme Box features:

   The Airtel Xtreme Box brings satellite TV and OTT content together onto the TV screen. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie, and gives users access to the Google Play Store, letting them download apps, including entertainment offerings such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube.

  User can choose from over 500 TV channels, and can also access content via the preloaded Airtel Xstream app (said to feature over 10,000 movies and shows). OTT content partners include ZEE5, Hooq, Hoi Choi, Eros Now, HungamaPlay, ShemarooMe, Ultra, and Curiosity Stream. Users will also have access to over 6 million songs from Wynk Music's library.

  The The Xstream Box comes with a complimentary one-year subscription worth Rs. 999 to all Airtel Xstream app content in addition to one month subscription to HD DTH pack, after that customers have to choose their own packs.

  The Airtel Xtreme Box is priced at Rs 3999 in India and existing Airtel Digital TV customers can upgrade to Airtel Xstream Box at a special price of Rs. 2249. Now it is available at leading Airtel retail stores, airtel.in and top online stores like Flipkart, Amazon and electronic retail chains like Croma and Vijay Sales.
