Nokia 7.2 launched in India, price starts at Rs. 18,599



  HMD Global has launched Nokia 7.2 in India, the company’s latest mid-range Android One smartphone, after it was introduced at the IFA earlier this month. It sports a 6.39-inch ( 1080 × 2340 pixels) Full HD+ HDR 10 PureDisplay with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 500nit brightness. The display has got Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The company said that the Nokia 7.2 smartphone is crafted from polymer composite that’s twice as strong as polycarbonate and half the weight of aluminium. It has glass back with Corning Gorilla glass protection. It has dedicated dual nano SIM and a dedicated microSD card slot.

  The Nokia 7.2 is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It packs 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage / 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage, and you can expand storage up to 512GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 9 pie OS out of the box. It has got dedicated Google Assistant button.


  The Nokia 7.2 features a triple rear camera setup, it has a 48MP Quad Pixel primary rear camera with LED flash, f/1.79 aperture, ZEISS optics, a 8MP 118° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor. It comes with 20MP Quad Pixel front-facing camera with  ZEISS optics and f/2.0 aperture.

  The Nokia 7.2 features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 3500mAh battery.

Price and Availability

  The Nokia 7.2 smartphone is priced at Rs.18,599 for the 4GB/64GB variant and Rs. 19,599 for the 6GB/64GB variant in India. It will be available at top mobile retail outlets in India, on Nokia.com/phones and Flipkart starting 23rd September.
