Xiaomi Mi A2 with Snapdragon 660 SoC launched in India

  Xiaomi has launched Mi A2 smartphone in India. The Mi A2 packs a 5.99-inch (2160×1080 pixels) Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 1500:1 Contrast. No details about display protection. This smartphone comes with metal body. This smartphone has Dual sim card slot. Both sim card slots can support 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  Xiaomi Mi A2 is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB LPDDR 4x RAM with 128GB (eMMC 5.1) storage. There is no option for expanding storage. This smartphone is running on Android 8.1 Oreo.

  Xiaomi Mi A2 smartphone comes with Dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, Sony IMX486 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, and it has a secondary 20MP rear camera with Sony IMX376 sensor with f/1.75 aperture and LED flash. This smartphone has a single 20MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and soft LED flash. Both front and rear cameras are powered by AI technology, it can detect 206 different scenes for better photos.


  Xiaomi Mi A2 has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has also face unlock feature. It has infrared sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. Xiaomi Mi 6X has USB Type-C port. This smartphone comes without 3.5mm Audio jack. This smartphone is packed with 3010mAh non-removable Battery and it can support Quick charge 3.

  Xiaomi Mi A2 at Rs. 16,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB RAM version, and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version will be available soon in India. It will be available for pre-order from tomorrow, August 9th on Mi.com and Amazon.in with orders shipping next week. First sale will begin August 16th on these platforms as well as Mi Home stores.

  LG has introduced the LG V50 ThinQ smartphone at MWC 2019, this is the company’s first 5G smartphone. It sports a 6.4-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels) 19.5:9 FullVision OLED Display.
